According to a report by Punch, Gift, a native of Uromi in Edo state had been living with her Bayelsa born lover since 2013 after she dropped out of school following the death of her father. Federal Government reduces electricity tariff by over 50%

The Federal Government has announced the reduction in electricity tariff by half. Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, Sam Amadi, who made the announcement in Abuja today March 17th, said after a review of the tariffs being paid by Nigerians, the commission agreed to slash it by half. The reduction takes effect from the end of March.
